Over the past 25 years, Kenan has improved the lives of women in Thailand and Vietnam, including farmers, factory workers, teachers, students, local businesswomen, prisoners and other vulnerable groups. Women such as Ms. Bui Thi Boi, who Kenan worked with to achieve her dream of helping rural, marginalized women in Hoa Binh, Vietnam improve their livelihood.

Many women in the region face similar problems, with fewer prospects than men and under-representation in many job fields. The lack of training, coupled with the burden of household responsibilities reduces opportunities to seek skilled, meaningful work. Women and girls in the region also lack a safe space and the means to talk openly about issues that affect and their families.

Working in partnership with companies, governments, academia, and committed individuals and using best practices from the US, Kenan has successfully improved the situations of tens of thousands of women through knowledge sharing and capacity building activities. By implementing engaging, exciting activities and offering exciting new opportunities, our work has helped give women the confidence to identify and address workplace issues such as discrimination and harassment, build newfound workplace skills, are empowered them to become leaders in their community, serving as a voice the address the concerns of their communities.

With your help, we can help improve the situations of more women and those close to them. Please share this message to support our work.
