In 2024, 547 young women in technical-vocational education have been equipped with the knowledge and hands-on experience needed to enter high-demand STEM careers, helping to close the gender gap in these industries while also contributing to Thailand’s long-term economic competitiveness. By fostering more inclusive learning environments and advocating for policy changes that support women in STEM, Kenan is laying the groundwork for lasting gender equality in education and the workforce.
Beyond education, economic empowerment is a key driver of women’s independence and societal progress, and Kenan has played a crucial role by equipping 1,469 women entrepreneurs and small business owners with financial and digital skills to grow sustainable businesses. Many of these women, previously unable to access resources, markets, or investment opportunities, have transformed their enterprises, creating jobs and driving local economic growth—particularly in rural and conflict-affected areas where they often serve as primary breadwinners. With mentorship and financial support networks, they have shifted from unstable income sources to running businesses with clear growth strategies, ensuring a stable future for themselves and their communities. Extending its impact to the digital economy, Kenan also empowers women-led businesses across the Mekong region with digital skills, e-commerce strategies, and financial technology tools, enabling them to reach new customers across ASEAN and thrive in an increasingly technology-driven world. By ensuring women have equal access to economic opportunities, Kenan fosters not only individual success but also a more inclusive and innovative economy.

Kenan is investing in young women as future leaders and community advocates by equipping 156 adolescent girls with the knowledge and confidence to make informed health decisions, access healthcare, and contribute to community well-being. These young leaders are not just improving their own lives. They are also becoming powerful voices for change, advocating for better healthcare, education, and economic opportunities for others in their communities. Kenan is shaping a future where young women actively participate in societal progress.
