Role Description

Kenan is seeking for the position of Intern to mainly for supporting Kenan’s Project teams (Education, Social Inclusion and Business & Economic Development) in implementation according to the project plan to ensure that the project plan is successfully executed with qualified deliverables.

The Intern will assist with a variety of tasks and projects that support the organization’s goals and initiatives. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the non-profit sector, develop professional skills, and contribute to meaningful work.

Key Responsibilities

Project Implementation and Administrative Support

Assist in organizing project-related documentation, including contracts, reports, and meeting minutes.
Assist with day-to-day office tasks, including data entry, filing, and managing correspondence.
Support event planning and coordination efforts, including logistics and communication with participants.

Stakeholder Coordination

Support in coordination between internal team members and external stakeholders.
Assist in scheduling meetings and follow-ups with stakeholders.
Prepare and distribute communication materials to stakeholders as needed.
Help in maintaining stakeholder contact lists and databases.

Outreach and Communication

Support outreach activities by engaging with the community and participating in networking events.

Research and Analysis

Coordinate in research on relevant Project topics related to the project / program objectives and provide summaries or reports as assigned by Project Manager
Analyze data and support create presentations or reports for internal and external stakeholders
Support in drafting reports, presentations, and other project-related documents

Additional Duties

Attend team meetings and provide updates on assigned tasks
Perform other duties as assigned to support the team goals

Qualifications

Current student or recent graduate in relevant field e.g. Social Sciences, Humanities, Environmental Studies, Economics and Non-Profit Management, etc.
Strong interest in specific focus area e.g. Social Inclusion, Education, Environmental Sustainability, Public Health, Business Development, etc.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiar with social media platforms.
Capable of working both on own initiative and as a part of a team;
Adaptability to work in an international and multicultural environment;
Good communications skills;
Excellent written and spoken in both Thai and English

Remark

Kenan Internship Program is opening year-round and currently seeking applicants available to commit to up to 2 months of internship. This position is only open to native Thai speakers with English language fluency.
