Monitoring & Evaluation SPECIALIST

1.Monitoring g and Evaluation 

• Provide overall M&E technical guidance in developing and implementing project-specific monitoring and evaluation plans including making regular updates to M&E’s activities 

• Develop data collection approaches to document and track key performance indicators across implementation activities including support data collection, verification, analysis, and data reporting activities. 

• Conduct data analysis both qualitative and quantitative assessment to ensure the quality and validated report 

• Monitor and review project deliverables against the work plans, TORs and contracts documents, coordinate and ensure distribution of deliverables/reports. 

• Support Technical staff in updating the risks log and recommendations possible mitigation actions 

• Contribute to quarterly, semi-annual, final reports, and annual reports, work plans, and other key deliverables as requested 

• Make evidence-based recommendations based on the data collected. 

2. Manage & Execute project implementation (research project) 

• Design a best-practice solutions/service interventions that leverages service delivery knowledge as directed by donor’s requirements 

• Manage and deliver project activities e.g. capability building, focus group, define M&E activities, pre-intervention design to ensure project impact delivery 

• Manage and Engage donor and stakeholders 

• Analyze and interpret them to meaningful implications for report delivery, come up with creative ideas for next project Plan formal/ informal evaluation or checkpoint in an appropriate timing and stage of each phase  

3. Building organization capability

• Assist Project Manager and Technical team in the preparation of reports on the findings and lessons learned for project innovations 

• Work closely with technical team in order to  generate new findings/insight that build on the key pillar of “Though leader” 

• Leverage data of M&E and turn them to be insight as evidence base proof 

• Update and maintain data base of M&E 

• Lead in organization M&E 

• Conduct trainings for staff on M&E, research, and business writing (if applicable) 

• Assist in providing training and knowledge transfer to the Project team/ Technical team staff, consultant/contractor personnel. 

• Follow a participatory process, facilitating learning, and adequate dissemination and sharing of best practices, success stories and lessons learned to be utilized for planning and knowledge building. 

4. Business development 

• Conduct literature review and research to assist project implementation 

• Take a lead of proposal development on the area of expertise
