Since 1996, Kenan has succeeded in empowering over 3 million people, including small business owners, community members, government officials, educators and students to achieve their dreams through over 1,000 projects in Thailand, Vietnam and Southeast Asia with generous support of nearly USD 100 million in donations from government, corporate and multi-lateral partners.

Our area of work.
Education
Kenan is leading the way in transforming STEM education both in Thailand and Vietnam. We seek to inspire students, develop skilled teachers, and support strong school leaders for the advancement of 21st century education. Today, kids must think critically and dynamically apply science, technology, engineering and math (STEM education) to solve complex problems. Without developing key 21st century skills,
Thai children are destined to sink in the fast-paced, Industry 4.0 era.
The solution to overcoming these challenges is to inspire kids now to pursue the jobs of tomorrow. This involves giving students opportunities to develop smart skills and an innovative mindset.
Economic Development
Kenan helps aspiring small business owners and entrepreneurs to take the final step into being their own boss, by inspiring entrepreneurship, assisting the development of digital skills, and helping to create an ecosystem in which small business owners can run their businesses both confidently and successfully.
We don’t just provide amazing training; we also provide the coaching and mentoring, and necessary materials and equipment to make sure people are able to apply their new skills.
Whether it’s a community entrepreneur looking to sell on-line, a teacher who wants to deliver a quality education to students, a small business owner looking to sell overseas, a factory worker who needs health literacy knowledge or a sugar-cane farmer who needs financial literacy skills, Kenan is working to make them “smart,” by providing them with the knowledge, technology and skills needed to improve their circumstances and pursue their dreams.
Social Inclusion
Kenan’s Social Inclusion programs are designed to increase awareness and promote positive change, to reduce inequalities and strengthen social cohesion.
Kenan promotes gender equality and actively equips disadvantaged populations with technological training, education, a greater sense of self-esteem, and the necessary skill sets to increase both their economic opportunities and support inclusive growth. We also empower the young and old to become positive change agents in their communities. By helping to bridge generational gaps, we can promote a stronger, mutually-beneficial social cohesion.
