January 26, 2023

Kenan Foundation Asia has partnered with the Department of Skill Development, Ministry of Labour to build essential 21st century skills, entrepreneurship, and online marketing literacy to 1) youth or hospitality workers in entry-level roles and 100 laid-off employees. 2) 140 TVET students in Bangkok and the surrounding area. The goal is to help them gain quality employment. Moreover, the project will be a gate for the target group to access professional online marketing training from Facebook Thailand and LINE Official Account. With this experience, the participants can gain more experience in online marketing to build skills to survive crises such as COVID-19.

Kenan will provide the youth and current and former hospitality workers with the knowledge and skills to enter the high-end hospitality sector. The training will deliver skills such as communication, teamwork, critical thinking, problem-solving skills, leadership skills, and online marketing literacy from a certified curriculum from Facebook Thailand and LINE Official Account and small business consultancies for 40 TVET students interested in online business.

The project will equip the participants with vital 21st century skills and build desirable career skills to gain quality employment and a comprehensive understanding of online marketing. Kenan aims to inspire 240 participants to optimize what they have learned and start their own business in the future.
